Q:  Are the waist beads one size fits all, and what is the difference between tie on, elastic and clasps?

A: Each Waist bead is custom to your size. Tie-on’s will have 2-4 inches extra to ensure you have enough comfort and room to tie. The intention here is to keep beads on permanently. Traditionally in Africa this is how waist beads are worn.   Clasp are the custom size of your choice INCLUDING the clasp piece. These can be taken off when needed or where you can test yourself and will power to keep on for long periods of time if your body and journey allows you to. Clasp can be attached to cotton or elastic strings.  Elastic is also the custom size of your choice, however since this string is stretchy, you have more flexibility to take on and off. This can be pulled over your head or over your hips. Keep in mind that the elasticity will not help with shaping due to the flexibility. * Currently we do not have Elastic beads in stock*
